Shri Vishwas Pathak as Additional Director of M.S.E.B. Holding Company. Shri Vishwas Pathak, who has a long experience in the Energy Department, has been appointed as an Additional Director in the Mahadiscom, Mahatransco and Mahagenco companies under the Maharashtra State Electricity Board Holding Company.

Shri. Pathak assumed charge yesterday at the Headquarters of the Maharashtra State Electricity Board Holding Company in Mumbai. He has previously held the same post during the tenure from 2015 to 2020 and during this period he has made remarkable achievements in increasing the installed capacity of power generation, load shedding free Maharashtra. He has helped energy department in scaling new height. During the coalition government of 2014-2019, under the leadership of Hon'ble Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, he has made a valuable contribution to the Energy Department. Also, during that tenure, he has held press conferences and interacted with journalists in all districts covering the whole of Maharashtra to convey the various schemes of the Energy Department to the people at large. More than Four Hundred of his articles have been published in various newspapers so far.

Shri. Pathak is a Post Graduate in Commerce and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India as well as a Graduate in Law. He has over 25 years of experience in law, management, finance, corporate law and industry. He has also practiced as an Advocate in Bombay High Court in Corporate Law. Shri. Pathak serves as an Additional Director on the Board of Directors of various listed and unlisted companies. He has also served as Chairman of the Vision Document Committee for Maharashtra State.
